the biggest thing is the windsheid is raked forward, IMO it does a perfect job with the med sheild, dont regret my purchase

Did you ever test top speeds between the two? I'm thinking the med size one is faster?

No, and I'm going to....my top speed ever has been with the med shield. I now have the stock one on and man the wind hits ya everywhere from your gut, side, head, balls ..
But I do think your right about the med sheild being faster

I personally did not like the medium windshield and went back to stock. I understand this is the general forum and not the mountain forum but I have an MTX and predominately ride in the steep and deep. If you plan on doing any riding what so ever in any kind of powder, you will absolutely hate the medium windshield. When in the deep snow, the snow runs right up your hood, over your windshield and hits you square in the face/goggles. I am 6'0" and the medium windshield is absolutely the worst for a guy my height. With the stock windshield the snow hits me at my mid-chest if it hit me at all, as generally it deflects off to one side or the other with the lower windshield. I ride in some of the coldest temp's imaginable and don't find the wind deflection to be significant enough to make it worth it. Just my .02

Interesting, i dont ride your kind of snow but with the side sheid in place it would keep the snow off my shoulders and knees, with the stock sheild it would be all over me....as for hitting my face, didnt really notice as I wear a full face helmet

Wish someone made a Taller blue one to match the sled. Intead of the white one with blue marks on it. Clear seems to be the only choice
