I'm putting Pilot 5.7 skis on my rtx and am wondering if I can use the stock Yamaha rubber block. Doo dealer didn't have a mount kit in stock.
No you need the skidont rubber

I had them on mine! They ROCKED in the trails but sucked off the trail.
Mine have been awesome. 1200 miles and absolutely no darting! Use the stock rubber block.
When cornering and the inside ski lifts (fairly often) you will see the tip lift up like you are taking off, but it is no big deal.

My stock rubber did not fit well at all?
The stock Yammy rubber fits fine. There is some ski lift, but that happens with all skis. If that is too much, you can always try the Doo rubber, but you will have to cut it, I believe.
