Apparently, it's only abnormal if you happen to be in your neighbor's garage polishing away - at 3am. (turns out the nightshift cops are a cranky and humorless lot)

Hahhahhaha!

Dude, you are funny!

Had 2 MI State troopers pull up behind me last winter and run my sleds because they said they were "bored"...
Cranky & humorless they are...

:letsnow: :letsnow: :letsnow:

PS SOB, Ummmm my sled needs polishing, you are getting derelict in your duties...

Sounds normal to me ;)! Been in the basement getting my gear, and bags together, and organized. Between that and going over the sled changes with the dealer I am getting the shakes. :brrr:

HEY ROCK

Get that sled up here and we will see about polishing her :)

Hey save me a Warm Hands at Haydays. I need one for the Attak now.

See ya in 9 Days

Wish I could drag The Rockmeister Express along!
Having YOU polish it would be like having a whole new sled!
(If you haven't seen SOB's sled, it glows from a distance, it's so shiny... lol)

Will take care of ya! ;)!

Can't wait!

So last week I was all decked out in my new sledding gear all the way from my head to my feet. It was 85 degrees. This weekend I pulled the ol girl into the garage and decided the tunnel needs to be polished. While I was at it I thought I might try on my new helmet and goggles while sitting in the garage. it was raining and I thought to myself "I wish it was 25 degrees right now". Is something wrong with me? :drink:

Hey its like at NASA, you can't just jump into the shuttle and start pushing buttons....there is checks, and re-checks that need to be done.

I think putting on your sledding gear in Aug. falls within the same guidelines :-o

Thats the funniest one i've seen. I'm pretty sure that the astronauts aren't revving up the shuttle just to get a "feel' for it....

Take a couple laps around the yard every month, people drive by shaking heads, pointing, laughing and then the awesome thumbs up. Do you think congress would pass a no summer bill? :jump:

KILLING ME.....YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME... I am going to give in and start working on and detailing the sled that has nothing wrong with it and is likely already the cleanest thing in the shed LOL

I have been so good this year, trying not to obsess, only moving the optimate charger from sled to sled, trying not to detail the sleds, trying not to talk about sledding everyday with family and friends BUT

I just can't do it. Now I read this and know, again, that I am not alone, others enjoy sledding insanity.

Guys we are like the old saying, "suffering from Insanity?", no it doesn't scare or bother me a bit, I enjoy every minute of it.

Haydays in less than a week, 6 days, I will be over the top then.

Insanely obsessed with sledding and LOVING IT

Isn't it just wonderful, this insanity that we all share!

...so you admit you may have a problem???!!!

I had a conversation with my wife the other day, she said I was spending to much time on TY chatting about sledding and reading post all year round and wrenching and polishing the SLED in the garage 12 months a year...so she asked me "if I had a choice to make between my SLED/sledding or me" being my wife for the last 29 years what would it be!...I haven't answered the question YET! :hide:

Now is this NORMAL!

GUY'S I need your advice!!!

I think I have a problem!!! here.

Tell her "Both Baby!"
If that doesn't work, just tell her you couldn't live without either! ;)!

My GF says you should say "Of course you always come first Baby!"
I think that gives away too much power & she will use it against ya in the future. Use at your own risk... lol
