Powercommander & Ignition module install-Pics

you gotta weld a bung on it!

Yes, you have to weld a bung for the oxygen sensor to mount into the exhaust pipe.

Will these units hold several different maps at once, and you can then pick from a mode button which you want.? A trail mode to ride to the local radar run, hit a button for a WFO mode, race, mode back and go home?

Exactly!

Installing mine tomorrow. I will also be using mine in the summer on my ZX14!!

Yes, I have loaded as many as 8 different maps. You simply touch the screen and touch the "maps" portion and it will take you to the maps loaded on it and you select which one you want to run at that particular time.

that LCD looks killer Allen...i think next year Ill be calling you for that.....very nice!

just wanted to say..rode to north bay wed/thurs.....snow up that way is very thin!....but most the ride was killer.....

I ran the ZERO MAP on the trip...and got killer fuel economy as expected....

With the ZERO MAP installed i ran the NORTH BAY radar track(approx 2800ft) which was ice,no snow, and very dry so sliders were cooking.....I had my GPS with me and ran a 116 there(while another APEX of my buddies with only a Ulmer airbox mod ran 111)

then today when i was here on my lake,we have sorta decent ice conditions(patchy ice/snow) but rough in spots....I loaded my tweaked map into Pc3 and added some timing to the map into Ign module....and ran a 119.9 on my radar gun which came up as 119 on my GPS(pic below)......while the same buddy on his Apex ran 113.5(113 GPS).....Im sure in perfect conditions on perfect day,I should be able to run 123-124

So IMO this PC3 was well worth the money....and I feel the acceleration is much better, and this is where it shines....while the top end is only abit better in most cases.

I also added some DOO 135mm wheels to INNER idler area.....since my spoked INNERs chunked apart on our trip(low snow/icy)....i also added DOO 2 BOLT brackets to the inners...much better/stronger bracket setup.

Dan

HOLY CRAP...im almost forgot to tell you all,the MOE-ZE on INN was SMOKIN HOT wed night up in North bay...LOL,gotta love them hO's!....i got some Video that will blow your mind!.....hehe

Do you have picture of the doo wheels and bracket?

Ok I have to have this mod for next year loooks great, one question i would have is it turbo compatible if i switch up to forced induction

A little Youtube action on how it all works and what it looks like in realtime. Sorry for the crappy vid quality (taken on my digital camera, not an actual video camera).

blue er, yes you could use it with a turbo. You would have to purchase the multi-function hub with the map sensor as well to go with it on a turbo sled. The only question will be mapping as to which turbo system you are using and if there is a map available for it.
