With all the talk on here about poor handlebar heaters, does anyone think hand guards would help. I fould when I rode at high speeds, the back of my hands got cold. I bought a set of PowerMadd hand guards to try. I hope they will work with the stock 07 Attak windshield.

Hand guards work great )
I have them on both of my sleds. I really like them for the long straights.

I ordered the Power Madd, they were very large looking and the opening for the hands was huge. I ended up getting an all black pair from Ski Doo that fit perfectly. They are actually ski doo guantlets and they fit over the hand guards fine. They seem to be a little heavier material, and were only 26 bucks.

I have powermadd and they work good. Even installed there mirror extenions. You will need to use heat gun and bend them out a little so your rear veiw is better. They are NOT full size mirrors but u do see the head lights behide you. PLUS they look alot better then big ugly things that are screwed to plastic. ALL an ALL they do work!!

Zr800,
I know its not pertinant to this post but I have seen pictures of your sled on other posts here, and I was wondering what panels you had painted besides the large side panels. Did you have the lower panels painted? From the picture, it looks like the front piece under the bumper is stock, am I right?
My sled is in a hundred pieces, and all my panels have been prepped for paint, as I will be painting this weekend.

Nate, I just had the two large side panels done. I brought the two bottom side panels in as well as the panel under the front bumper, but the guy doing the work advised against it as they will be faster to get marked up. He showed me his Apex he painted and I decided not to do mine.
A couple guys on here I think have painted them...maybe BlueByYou and NOS-Pro...

Any mods needed for the PowerMadd's to fit an 07 Apex or do they just bolt on?
