I'm seeing some killer deals this year on 15s and 16s. Would dealers be aware of a new sled coming? Or did they miss out on December sales due to low snow?

Both

Hope you are right about the new sled coming, although I'd rather not realize my viper will be worth so little in a year or 2!
Doo has some really good deals going now as well.

We know as much as the rest and that is nothing ... As far as pricing... Very low snow in December and high inventory = low pricing ... Yamaha doesn't tell dealers anymore than what they tell all of you !!!!

True but there are other sources like parts suppliers and I am 100% sure that the new sled will at least look different.

Have not seen or heard of anything...we just need to get rid of all these sleds ...now that there is snow they are starting to move ...

So if an all new sled was coming why take potential new buyers out of the equation by selling them a sled now. I bet it's more low snow, less sledding, less buying, and bean counters aren't happy.

There will always be new buyers coming for new models, but less so for the non current models. Models on the floor cost money so move them out to make room for the new.
We had a dealer locally that had brand new strut Yammies well past Y2k.

If I knew we were not going to get an all new Yamaha next year, I'd be interested in picking up another 15 viper for a spare given low prices...

Not to worry, more and more poo's, doo's and cat's are blowing up every day, people wise up sooner or later. My buddy a lifelong poo fan just grenaded his 2nd 800 Assault this year, he just bought a 15 viper ltx.

This is what happens when you try to make a 2 stroke be fuel efficient, OIL EFFICIENT and produce big HP #'s. Lets see how long we can run an engine on no oil and buy a Poo or Skidoo...
My neighbor is a die-hard Ski Doo fan. First thing he did was fatten up the oil delivery to prevent it from blowing up. Smells very raunchy behind him!
