Primary clutch making noise

I just recently bought my first yamaha sidewinder stx gt. I started it up today and the primary clutch was making noise. I shut it off and notice the bolts for the weights are loose. Just wondering if thier supose to be like that.

Yeah, clutch is noisy. Yes, on bolts. I put washers (made for that) in hopes it would quiet it up and nothing changed

Just purchased S-TX GT Friday, out twice now ... yes noticed clutch kinda noisy while driving, noisy during breakin? But sporadic...

However, watched some videos of folks in deep snow in mountains and theirs makes the same kinda noises ... So, not concerned - 22 miles thus far lol and very nice machine!

We ride from our house ... will be riding farther and more this coming week. Just got it

It is perfectly normal. Enjoy the sled! They are great machines.

yes very happy with it - stepping up from a 2008 lol ... and older for past 50 yrs plus :0)
