Just wanted to share some news on a new product we will be offering. We are working with a local suspension shop that can custom build us progressive rate springs for all mono shock skids with a coil over shock from 05-2015. Yamaha big boy springs prevent bottoming, but the trade off is a harsher ride in the the smaller studder bumps. Our springs will have a softer rate for the small bumps and progress to a stiffer "big boy" rate to resist bottoming allowing for the best of both worlds.
We will be stocking several different rate combos structured around stock and big boy rates Yamaha currently uses and offers, however we will also be able to build a springs to any particular rates that a customer desires.
The springs will be a direct replacement for the factory spring that comes on the sled. No modifications and machining required to install it.
At this point it looks like we will be retailing these springs for $160 whether its one of the rates we stock or a custom rate. Custom rates will obviously have some lead time.
I already have a few customers interested, and will be placing an order in the next week or so. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Presently we don't have anything in the works for the xtx skid. I can get progressive rate springs made up for that front skid shock or ski shocks. If you have something in mind that you want to try I can get them made. We have not done any research yet to make any suggestions.

A basic spring compressor is needed. Any shop could probably swap it out for you for a few bucks.
