Any good ideas on protecting, mounting pump while riding the sled. Just don't want to trash it letting it bounce around in trunk. Thinking of mounting it on belt guard. Thanks

Last year, I zip-tied mine to the frame in the engine bay. But this year I'm riding with a Fly Racing back-pack. So I will just keep it in there.

Wife made a nice foam bag that I put it in and then in the trunk. Have had no problems.

I used too till I pumped them up to 75 lbs to try it and had to ride all day with shocks that were too stiff for the conditions. When I say foam I mean an inch of it, the stuff computer parts come shipped in. Hope to find the sweet spot I keep hearing about so I can leave the ($95 CAN or $12 USD LOL) pump at home.

Of course I take it with me. What if one of the shocks develops a leak? If it is a slow leak, you can at least pump it back up a few times while you limp your way back to the truck.
And it is nice to be able to adjust the shock for if I'm just cruising, or pounding the moguls.

I got a pack of 2 spring loaded clip thingies at walmart the other day. Cost was under 2.00, I don't have them mounted yet, but I'm thinking about mounting them on the belt guard. Look in the hardware dept.
