As for the geared down starter, I had a Johnson sled with a geared down recoil starter that worked fine.

Never!Did have to do the SRX the other day since the recoil rope broke.Is kind of ironic having owned both I do think electric start is probably more reliable than Rope Start.Is good to know that clutch start works though just in case.

Cannondale -- I was listening to NPR this morning on the drive to work, and I heard the town had a special guest yesterday. Never would have referenced Manitowoc without seeing your location posted all these times.


Yes it was quite something to see what is all involved to have President visit my little city.I never did get to actually see him just the Secret service,Police and about 30 vehicles,helicopters and jets involved in his Motorcade.Was all done on less than a weeks notice.A buddy of mine got to talk with him at Tower Tech.Pretty cool.
