Putting stock muffler on when tuned?

New to me 17, has a BMP tune, BOV,CAI, and trail muffler on it. The muffler is too loud for me, I want to go back to stock, the sled runs great, am I safe to put the stocker back on when running this tune? I know switching from stock to a high flow is a bad idea when not tuned for it, just cant find any information about the other way around. Just trying to avoid spending $400 for a SM tune if I dont have too, seems to run and perform great with the BMP tune. I would rather have a hurricane or TD tune but trying not to spend more a this point unless I HAVE too... Thanks guys

It will run far too rich with a stock muffler on a tune designed for a hi-flow muffler. You could try a different and a quieter muffler or try wearing earplugs too. I started riding with earplugs back a few years ago and it was the best thing I ever did cutting exhaust and wind noise. I found some nice and comfortable soft in earplugs that don't put undue pressure on the ear canals. Some are uncomfortable, but the ones I use now are nice and soft silencing nearly everything.
