QS3 center shock issue / wear

Yamaha is going to replace my shock under warranty. However, it is back ordered and they don’t have an ETA for me right now.
I had a slight leak in my front/left Qs3r.....and so last spring my dealer got it covered under warrantee...but the new shock did not arrive until late august...took like 5 months to get it.

My dealer got authority from Yamaha to have me fix shocks using available Arctic Cat parts and was fully reimbursed for the parts and Labor. No snow most places yet but when it comes I would try talking to dealer and have him call Yamaha. Not sure if it was authorized by rep or whom they talk to. I wasnt directly involved with that but it can be done. Fox also has these shocks in stock.

Guys this is getting really serious. 7188 mi on this one. Even eyelet and shaft are shot. Don’t let this happen to you!

I have exhausted all searches for a Steel body. They dont exist. I am really worried about Safety after seeing the last one above. At least look. I think this will end up being a recall.

I have This Steel shaft in my xtx and it Will last forever
I do too! I like it alot. RR Shaft works too but 2 bolts is way better design on that shaft. Are you the designer of that shaft? You should try getting whomever is to sponsor this site. It would be worth it!

If I where to get a center qs3r, should I get the OEM springs or does the collar between the springs still rubs? I can't imagine they wouldn't updated it by now? I still see this setup on '21 8000 RR sleds.
