i am putting my motor back together and im doing the timing chain at this moment while i got her back together and now i have no compression and cylinder #1 and i had compression before, if its not timed right the valves are being timed right? and is that the reason why i would have no compression? any suggestion or idea out would much apreciate the help thanks.

I would guess that yes the valve timing is off and holding a valve open during the compression stroke.

You also have to take into account valve clearance and of course the decompression mechanism. I believe it only acts upon cylinder 1 which is what you are seeing possibly. What is the psi?

I forgot about the decompression mechanism my bad and yes if the valve timing is too far off the valves and pistons can hit.

cylinder #1 is 0 psi
cylinder #2 is 50 psi

Wow neither is enough to fire the engine. You check valve clearance?
