Racing Stripes on the Black RX

Well, I got a hold of some white vynal sticker material and went a little crazy. I wanted to due this since I seen the new vectors. What do you think, should I leave the speed stripes on? I do think it makes it look even faster "like that's possible" right fellas. I hope the attachments go through. Don't mind the messy garage.

RX Buck, coming from a fellow black 03 owner, I do kind of like those stripes. Definitely will set you apart from all the other black ones. Now you got me wondering about doing the same but only in silver. I painted my screen inserts silver so the stripe may just compliment it quite well.

I like the stripe idea, but you need them in silver to match everything else IMHO.

Thanks for the opinions boys, I do think that silver would also look nice and probably would compiment the sled a little better but I have always liked the constrast of bright white on black sleds. I am going to add white sled ID lettering on the sides and a white RX-1 sticker on the back pipes to try and add a little more white to the sled. Someone should put silver ones on so I can see what they look like.

RX Buck, I'll tell you what, if you can get the vinyl stickers in silver and cut to match yours, I'll put them on mine for everyone to compare.

Actually, I was going to ask where you got those white vinyl stickers from since I am seriously comptemplating putting silver stripes on now that I have seen yours.

I just got a 10" wide role of it from a graghics store and cut them myself. It took a few tries to get it right. Laying them down staight on that curved surface was a #%*@*. You just have to get some material and give it a try. I will take a few pics when I get all the lettering doen and post them. The more I look at them the more I like it!

The stripes look good but need small pin stripes on the outside edges for that "retro" look. I have custom black vinyl reflectors instead of the yellow and red ones on mine. I cut custom vinyl if you need something special for your RX1. Bob

Im all for custom graphics. They look great, and you will stand out from the crowd. I always try doing things on my sleds that seperate it from everyone else out there. Nice work. Heres a look at my graphics done in chrome...BBY
