What kind of numbers are people doing on their Apex's. There was 4 of us all on Apex's this weekend and the numbers were not that great. Top was 108 mph. The conditions were hard packed and we were running approx. 1 mile. Everyone is bone stock. Numbers from the Radar guns not dreamometers.

No particular Apex stood out from the other?!

on ice track many of us have seen 120mph on radar.....which is also 120mph on speedo with gear mod(no longer a DREAMeter)

obviously conditions will make huge differences.

112 mph is all we could get out of 2006 Apex GT and that was after 1200 miles on her. About 108
up to 1200 miles. Only mod is wheel kit up front at curve and slightly large middle wheels in rear.

Thats Radar so I would say you are on target. 144
studs, stock air box, stock clutching, stock gearing,
stock timeing, mid height windshield.

i've done 116 on radar with my 06' attak

On hardpack? That is some good speed if so.

no, on ice, very little snow, this attak i have is weird, since day one that i have owned it, it would go right up to 11,000 rpm's when it was new, the dealer had to add some tip weight to the stock weight to bring the rpm's down

You need to make some changes if you want speed. On snowpacked you should get 108-112 on radar. On ice should be 114-122 on radar. Anybody that has hit the high end have considerable changes to clutching, gearing, airbox mods, plugs, suspension/wheels kits and some have even changed tracks. Speed Cost money, how fast do you want to go?

My buddies F1000 with 1"hacksaw, y-pipe and bullsye runs 109 on hardpack.. On ice it's a different story. On ice you should pick up 7-10mph over hardpacked. One thing I notice about sleds these days are the new sleds are very finiky to conditions on how they like to run. Very weird...

This I find odd....as those weights should of already had the 4.5 gram rivets in both holes from the factory!!! The heaviest available without using John Deere body rivets!!

I have the Ulmers Stelth Airbox and CR10EK's (first ride with those mods) and installed the Stage 2 kit last night. 144 Woody's Mega Bites next week. I'm leaving to go riding this afternoon. Hey maybe I got a lemon. HAHA. Wouldn't surprise me with my luck. Hopefully I'll have some better numbers next week fellas. Peace Out.
