I was wondering if anyone has put any type of ram air on there sled and if they thought it was worth it ? Do you need to change anything because of the added air intake?

I have one and believe it does work as claimed. The FI is a little rich from the factory and with the type of FI Yamaha uses that doesn't make adjustments to added airflow it cleans it up nicely IMHO. I can't say it's worth the dollars especially when you could make one yourself. Cut the openings and install a screen kinda like mesh from an automotive air filter and cover that with a fine filtering cloth like used for pre-filters. An added benefit is the growling sound it makes

No, but looking at it, it would be simple. I'll try to remember to take a picture when I go back out in the shop.kotapug said:Did you make one and if you did do you have any pics. ?
