Awaiting my Attack and starting to consider what mods I'm going to do first. I am considering having the track punched and clipped and installing new drivers. Would like to hear pros and cons from those that have made the change.
One on the most frustrating things about the RX1 was having to keep the track so tight to avoid ratcheting.
Looks like sending the track out for punching and clips + new drivers will be around $240 + shipping just wondering if its worth while.
I plan on running 144-168 stud. thanks for the insight....

The mono shock fixed teh issues with ratcheting. Just like the Expert X I installed in my RX-1.

alot of work and money for something that is already fixed..
If anything if you had a problem, i would do like MIGHTY WARRIOR did and add the wear pads on the track..

Ratcheting was caused by damaged W-arm on the 03/04 suspension or missing/maladjusted control rods.

My RS rage and my brother's RX1 mountian ratcheted bad in deep snow with no broken parts. We found out that in certian positions the geometry of the proactian suspension would let the track get REALLY loose. Just had to run the track TIGHT or else set the controll rods to less transfer.
