rear shock blown? warranty

i went to grease my 06 apex er today and the rear shock looks like it blew, it had red fluid mixed into the snow and ice around the shock. Will yamaha warranty this? i do have the 3 year extended warranty ant the sled has 400 miles on it. i dont remember bottoming it out what wouls cause this?

I beleive they will because my buddy BENT the shaft of his front shock (GT 06 ) and he was out of warranty and Yamaha Canada went 1/2 on him because he was out of warranty, good will was better than nothing. I think you will be fully covered.

im going to call my yammy dealer today i hope he can get it fixed quick

I got mine replaced after 1500 miles...

Ive been told they will rebuild it for free after the first year if you have the YES..
