That does not make sense at all for a dual rate setup. This may be the primary rate. A dual rate usually has an initial rate of anywhere between 100 and 140 then ramps up quite a bit for final rate. I would guess this spring rate may apply for a single spring SE model. Perhaps cannondale can chime in.

You notice the non progressive rate springs are 110 lbs/in and the progressive are 135 lbs/in. They choose not to provide the lower spring rate of the progressive spring is all I’m telling you. Info I don’t believe is wrong, just missing the lower rate is all.

Mike you are really close at 15 mine now is at 14 book saids 20 clicks, but they don't give info weather that is front qs3,s or rear qs3!Wondering what is the setting is on the Rebound from the factory? I don't want guesses or I think it should be this or that either.
Crank it in (clockwise) full tight, then backed off how many clicks from tight? What ya got?
Mine was set at 15 clicks from full tight, but it may have been changed. Wondering what others have for settings?

A 225 tender and 350 main will give a primary rate of 136lbs. I have these on the bench and will verify rates of each

Oh BTW I have the rebound set o
Wow big words I’m so impressed!
Oh yea so stacking two stiff springs makes a weak spring.....Huuummmm I smell something?
Oh BTW on my rebound adjustment I’m running 16 turns out, but I’m light and have my springs turned down on the lowest setting.

First ride on my rebuilt 17 ltx-le,well torsions at 3 max I weigh 240# and all 4 compression at setting 2 and straps stock, rear blocks in and trimmed on max transfer #1 like I stated trimmed down 90 thou,it does not make much difference,my studs are short for this 1.25 rip. Rebound on all three shocks are at 14 from tight, thats 14 out from bottomed. We were in bumped out tight trails, small local trails 6 foot wide at best, bumps from 6" to 2 feet, this sled at 20-40 mph just eats them up,when I would tense up,waiting for the hit, well just did not come, all smiles. Is it fast, well not really, got smoked by my buds 05 rx1 turbo bender on full kill with ave gas,it ran great, mine did not run good, clutching way off,for stage 4 tune, but that's another story.

Depends what your looking for in ride and feel. If rear is bucking close rebound to reduce bucking, closing rebound is slower shock extending (if you want skid to remain sucked into tunnel) opening rebound results in quicker extending of shock (which could result in a bouncy or bucking ) rear skid. It's a personal preference imo. Compression (or clicker knob) is another thing altogether, that controls bump absorption.
Closing rebound is clockwise ?

Yes clockwise slows the shock extension. Stock setting is to tight imo for most riders.Closing rebound is clockwise ?

That depends on rider weight and spring setting. More spring more rebound damping is needed. Saying if the sled kicks wouldn’t be the term I use for adjusting rebound. For instance if the compression is to stiff the sled will kick, also if the rebound is too stiff the sled will hit you hard because the suspension has not had time to extend itself and make use of its full travel.
Here’s how I do it. Set your suspension compression fairly soft for the riding conditions then start removing rebound until the sled feels bouncy. Stiffen the compression back up to where you like it, then add rebound one click at a time until the bounce goes away.
Done. You may need to adjust for changing conditions but usually only small changes are needed. I’ve ridden with my rebound at 18 clicks out, great for stutter bumps but not enough for the big stuff imo.

Oh I forgot to mention make sure you do your setup on a fairly bumpy trail. Doing it on small stuff will be a waste of time.

Yes on post 21# mine from last nights ride, very bumpy. lol sucked in a way,so tight I could not get any speed to bridge them going at speed, but susp. still did a great job of soaking them up. Now to figure out my darn clutching, sucks getting beat by old iron lol..boosted rx1.Oh I forgot to mention make sure you do your setup on a fairly bumpy trail.
