I have the skid out and had the rear shock rebuilt. What is the process to re-install? Do I use a ratchet strap to compress the torsion springs into the pockets and then bolt in the shock? Thanks.

Not sure of the process but you can take the “long end” of the spring off it’s block and take all the preload off the skid. No need to use a strap to compress.
