I have a 2007 pahzer std. and seems that the rear suspension is sagging under it own weight and when I'm on the sled (225lbs) I can bottom out very easily jsut by bouncing on it at a stand still. The other thing is that when I get off the rear suspension doesn't seem to recover to full ride height or even real close. What are your thoughts.

Sounds like it is time to rebuild the shocks in the rear. How many miles do you have on it. It seems the rear shocks fade fairly quickly on these sleds. Just had mine rebuilt again.

got it all apart and nothing bent, broken. i'm gonne try to lube all parts and reassemble. i'll keep you posted. thanks for your help.

That's exactly what my sons' did and he broke the pivot link shock mounts. May want to look closer. His suspension still worked but did exactly as you described. It took us a while to find the breaks. Our thought immediately was blown shock but that wasn't it.

If the linkage isn't broke and nothing else is broke or cracked I will bet that you need to take apart all points that pivot and clean and grease them well. My friend had the same exact sypmtoms and that was the fix. Now he hits the zirks every couple of rides. When this first started to happen he thought the shock was shot too. He bought a clicker and stiffer torsion springs. We put them on, put it back together and it still did the same thing. We took the entire skid apart and discovered that the grease was dried up/gone, a couple of the shafts where pitted, and the bushings where shot. He cleaned up the shafts, put in new bushings, greased it well and back to new... When you do this you can inspect the linkage well. His started to crack about 1500 miles after he discovered the lack of grease deal binding the skid so at about 3000 miles. He pounds his phazer so I am amazed at the guys that seem to be able to break their linkages every other ride!

mainly just greased, but I had 2 zerks that wouldnt take grease so i took those shafts out and cleaned them and reinstalled and the greased. It had really dried almost hard grease and very dirty in side the shaft housing. This spring it is coming completely apart.
