No, pull it out and drill out the small side.Do both ends need to be drilled out?

So you guys are pulling the red elbow out of the rubber grommet in fuel tank(not removing clamp at hose)
And simply drilling out the end that goes into the tank correct?
What is the preferred size?

You have to take the clamp off, thats the side that needs to be drilled out. 3/16"

Or just put a worm gear clamp on it Dan.
Why do some feel the need to drill out the elbow? Do they thing they are running rich at an idle or what? What started this craze on drilling out the factory elbow in the fist place?
Does someone think it fixes a rich condition or something? Because that's all it do is fix a rich condition at idle if the orifice is too small. Seems a lot of to do over nothing, a problem that does not even exist.
