Now that the Phazer is out of warranty, what oil are you using when you do your oil changes? If the Yamaha Lube is the best I will continue to sell my sole for the good stuff. Has anybody switched brands???

Amsoil 5w30 full synthetic.

Just curious on the selection of 5w30 vs the 0w30?

The first number has to do with the way the oil acts when it's cold. It's a negligible difference. Even 10w30 would work fine. The second number (when oil is at operating temp) is what you need to watch for.

0w30 came out a bit milky. but it got put on its side a few times though
you have a problem...the milky is from the oil mixing with water...you must check it out...I have had my sled upside down and on its side...many .many etc,times..and never saw this..had a hair crack on my foot for the boat..and the water got in and turned it milky...found the crack with an xray//I would adress this problem...unless you got snow in it when you put oil on the trail in it..
