Probably why I have put 3 x the initial amount paid at purchase into my turbosled, to give me my needed dose of adrenaline every time I pull the trigger, priceless.
Yeah of course, I do not expect to get even one tenth of the Money back if any :-)

Well since you won't be let down I could offer $3,000 AMERICAN for your sled - I will even pay the shipping to get it here :jump:

Here's the formula most dealers use when calculating trade in values.
1 year old: price New x 0.72
2 years old: price New x 0.72 x 0.85
3 years old: price New x 0.72 x 0.85 x 0.90
4 years and older is calculated x 0.9
Then they subtrackt or add depending on mileage, depending mileage above or below a given average.
Here in Norway the yearly average is only 1000 miles or 1600 kilometers.
More cases the dealer is subtracting value based on mileage than adding as you can see.

LOL - Thank Your for Your generous offer, but I'll keep the sled forever hahahahaha

All you non VIP users... this is not an open spot so you can sell you sled...if your going to play these little games then I will remove you as a user.

I find this very informative I too was having no bites selling my sled but the more I thought about it the more I knew why get rid of a nice machine? I won't get what I want for it and there is nothing really new out that I want not for me to spend 10000 on a used 11-13 Apex. I drove an XTX very nice machine but not enough of an improvement for me to sell and buy right now. I really hope they come out with a high hp Apex replacement in the next 3 years. HERES HOPING :D

I'm not selling mine to get a new one. I'm selling mine to get out of the sport. Hopefully it sells soon!

I picked up my Attak ,with under 1000 miles, in May for $3800.00.
Gives me lots of room to spend $ on improvements that I am working on now.

Thats cheap!

Yes...got lucky...sled has sat unused for many years and owner works out of town...got it in spring when he was in town for a short while and wanted to get rid of it.

I just bought an 08 apex 40 th anniversary w 1 k miles on it for 5000. Sled was used on one trip to Canada by older guy. I think your priced right.

I had mine for sale for $4500 and ended up trading it in for $4300, which in the end I was fine with.

How long you had the Rush Pro R? just a note for ya watch your oil resevior line for bubles. I blew one up last season with 750 miles on it. It was the first time I ran it without oil mixed in the tank and I know several people that had the same problem on the 800. I bought another 2013 to finish the season, have been adding oil to gas but am going to get the mix ratio turned up at least.

Yamadog made a good point, not everyone pays $12K for an Apex new.

When I bought my 2007 Apex GT used, the previous owner gave me his bill of sale from Port Yamaha. He bought that thing in March of 2007 for around $7500!!

Needless to say, I got a steal on the sled, but when compared to what he paid, he got a ton of use for the difference. Value is in what you use of the toy. If you don't use it, you got ripped off no matter what you paid.

I bought it as a new left over September 2013.

I've read about the oil bubble problems over on HCS. Thanks for the heads up!
