Rev Limiter Question

That must have been what i was experiencing this past weekend. BUT, as far as i know the clutching is stock??

Any ideas why this would happen with stock clutching? Maybe a wearing belt?
mine does it all the time within the first 5-10 mins of my ride then its good

My Nytro runs sexual at 9100-9200 giving me top speeds of 100-103mph.... Anything under that feels as if im not full throttle. :4STroke:

Just bought an 09 nytro rtx yesterday. How do you know where your limiter is set and how do you adjust it?

9400 is the rev limiter. Why do you want to adjust it? A programmer will adjust it for you but you are not gaining anything.

Just wondering if it was adjustable, in the way that my 03 R1 is. Actually no I'm wrong you can't adjust the limiter on that either. You can adjust when the shift light comes on. Some one said their sled was a dog in that range. Just trying to learn as much as I can about the sled I just bought. I'm the only one I know who has one of these beauties.

So then why is it that when my clutch was slipping around 6000-7000rpm the rev limiter is kicking it? As soon as I added more spring wind in the secondary it cleared right up. From dead stop I could hammer the throttle wide open and it would be fine, blast right up through the rev range into 9200+. Was a good drag setup and I was pulling nice top speeds. But when trail riding running in and out of the 5000 to 8000 range corner to corner in the torque band, the damn rev limiter would kick in all the time. There must be a sensor checking for load under throttle. At first I thought it was bad coil or dirty injectors. But all I did was adjust the secondary and I'm happy again.
