Can you re-use the stock bolts and bushings for the upper shaft? The bushings are $28 each and the bolts are $18 each.

Yes much cheaper too. Thanks.I would get the barn of parts version he has the lower shaft now too.
Go with BOP fix for sure but to answer your question. RR bolts for upper shaft are longer so must be used. The collars are same dimensions as stock but billet probably not necessary.
I have upgraded to all the RR parts listed. After a couple years of pounding I found that the weak link is now the tunnel so I upgraded with the tunnel plate made by Travis. This is a beautiful aftermarket addition that I highly recommend.
The bolt from Cat is not long enough, only 50mm from the flange. Bushing cap is 45mm. With the thickness of the tunnel this puts the end of the bolt around the same end point of the bushing. What's the point?
Go to the hardware store and get a 3" fully threaded bolt. You will need to fully tap your shaft to accommodate the additional threads and over drill the end of the shaft about 10mm.
I have pic's to illustrate this but I don't know how to upload.
simply push the bold through the tunnel hole and put the shaft next to it, you will see what I'm talking about. The bolt is too short.

Yes for sure with plate need a even longer bolt than rr. Good point!I have upgraded to all the RR parts listed.
