I bought a pair of skis that I believe are tuner skis. They have dual runners and non removable hoops. They won't work with my current rubber dampers because my old skis are made by Sly Dog. The correct 8HL-23743-10-00 dampers from Yamaha are $130.00 for the pair. Kimpex makes an aftermarket rubber damper for the newer style skis, does anyone know if they will work with the tuner skis? They are only $15.00 each from Kimpex.

Do you remember if they were made specifically for the Nytro? The Kimpex rubber stoppers that I found were made for the newer Arctic Cat/Yamaha sleds. From looking at the pictures it looks like the bolt hole location is higher on the 2014+ Vipers so the bottom of the rubber is thicker. I'm just comparing pictures, I haven't seen them in person.i have used the kimpex ones in the past. they are a softer rubber than the oe ones but do last awhile.

I ended up ordering the correct ones, 8HL-23743-10-00. Sometimes saving a buck costs more in the end.

yeah.. I just bought SPI wheel caps for my 2010 vector. Hard plastic and a bitch to get on. OEM ones are a quality rubber and snap right in.I ended up ordering the correct ones, 8HL-23743-10-00. Sometimes saving a buck costs more in the end.
On a side note I was thinking of putting on a set of Tuners to my 2010 vector ltx. do you think I'll need same parts?

It's hard to say, the shape of the rubber stopper is based on your spindle, so you might be good to go. It depends if the ski mount hole is at the same height as the Vector ski.yeah..
