i have 2017 sidewinder with 12,800 kms that has TD powertrail and dalton setup since breakin. Love the performance and tolerance for fuel quality this setup has given me. I am selling it to my son real reasonable to replace his 09 nytro RTX se with 46,600 kms on it, mostly wfo with a 1.75” back country track on it. Yamaha crappy motor engine quality got to his nytro this year he had to replace the output shaft and bearing to primary clutch, rest of engine is stock with power tune in it its whole life. Back to winder, last ride of the year we were off trail wide open throttle a fair bit and my winder is smoking under wide open throttle acceleration, it goes away under normal riding conditions. Sled still hits 8950 from wide open start with good traction. When we got home from trip the fuel pump wouldn’t run and start sled, I put in an omron relay from a ford that is sealed and the sled started and ran fine.
Do you guys think my fuel pump could be off? I want to get sled perfect before my son buys it. I won’t put cheap open fuel pump back in I would do upgrade one.

Thanks in advance if anybody has some input.

"crappy quality that he only made it to 46000 kms"
Sarcasm?

Yes I was being sarcastic, after changing output shaft and bearing it runs the exact same as it did when it was brand new. Doesn’t use a drop of oil and is mechanically very smooth and quiet. It has probably shut down 20 times over the years from being upside down and losing oil pressure to the auto shutdown from his off trail forays gone wrong too.

Since you are already running TD tune, I would upgrade to TD high volume pump. This way, if you ever upgrade tunes, you already have the pump to do it.

You scared some us!
We thought you were an Imposter or Troll trying to stir us up.
Turns out you're not real good at sarcasm. You are a Newbie so we'll let it slide. LOL
