Ride this saturday january 26th in melfort. were meetin at a gas station called Damar. leaving there around 10ish. lots of sleds and i guess the snow there is waist to chest deep. 961-1022 for info or a ride.

damn im in mexico right now. i'm missing the snow. where you planning to ride? i went melfort to nipawin to wapiti to melfort it was a boring ride i wont do it again all open field. you could go kip and archerwill way or hudson bay.

Wish I would have seen this sooner. Could have toured you guys around some not so well known areas with some nice hills and waist deep powder. Even some hill climbing on an old ski hill if you wanted. Maybe next time.

kelvington poker derby this weekend feb 2nd. tonnes of pow!! trails are to be groomed night before the derby. two routes, long route is 100 miles, short rout is 60 or 70 miles. average yearly turn out is 400 sleds.
For all of you who are interested the Togo annual snowmobile derby is on Feb 18th and we usually get between 200 to 300 sleds. We have lots of snow over two feet of the white in the fields.

Are any of the upcoming rallies true poker rallies where you get a card at each stop and best hand wins? To me that's more fun then tickets with a draw after.

Most derbies we do you "buy a hand" which is choosing 5 numbers between 1-20 and they then pick 5 numbers from 1-20 with a bingo machine. Person who gets them all right wins, if there's a tie the winnings are split. Another way you we do it is pick 10 numbers from a bingo machine, person to have to most balls right wins. Or another way yet is cut a deck of cards in half, you keep your half of the card, and the other half is drawn when everyone gets back. This way usually doesn't have a grand total priZe, but more like a give away of a basket of random stuff. "Buying hands" for 5 dollars each is a fast way to make money and anyone can buy them

fox ford rally is a "poker rally" with yes, a card at each stop(3 stops). just lettin everyone know which rally is when in Sask. lots of activity here but never got to ride with anyone yet

The Calling Lakes Cruisers rally in Fort Qu'Appelle is Feb. 2 also. I don,t think we will go. My riding buddies have bailed on us and I hate going alone.

Hey mx1500 any word on if and when Weirdale is havin a rally this year? Hit that one up a few years back and it was good. Plannin on making it out to Foxford as well

I have heard good things on weirdale. I love rally rides. The thing I don't like is the ones that make you stay around at the bar till 9 pm before they do the draws. I know it's to support the bar but I have seen too much drinking then riding and driving due to that. Weirdale I would love to do. Great community to support.
