Last weekend was the perfect conditions for ice and snow buildup in the tunnel with lots of powder to run in. It was the first time I ran with the new tunnel cover kit installed and it worked great. I had ice everywhere, but none in the tunnel, just at the rear at the snow flap. Last year without the cover I would be on the ground for 15 min trying to breakup the ice in the tunnel area.

Glad to hear the plate worked, but on a side note....if you slap you tunnel when it's cold, the ices will fall right out...you can also take a small hammer, wrench etc and tap on the tunnel protectors and the vibration causes the ice to break up very quickly...2 minute job.

X2... I finally got to test mine yesterday. 127 miles on packed powder trails and very little build up. It works....

How much does it sell for? I do not see it listed on their website.

I would like to do the same however I have an excell pipe and header and am concerned about the heat build up. Should I be?

Same here? Getting tired of the ice build up, i put a inch and 3/8 track on and rode yesterday and i can hear the ice rubbing on the rear of the tunnel!
