I believe the apex is running in the 600 class there the same hp as a f7 but alot heavier so I don't think they have a chance against a f7 in 500ft.This is not a bash I'm a Yami guy too just a fact.

No idea how the Apex really feels yet guys. I've made 4 passes down the grass strip with it and it's completely box stock! No studs, no clutching, no suspension work. I will be doing some testing this weekend with it working on race setups. Yes we will be working with the Super Tips.
The only thing I can really tell you is that it's very responsive! The throttle response is very impressive!

So allen, how close were you to roth norberts 600 srx,and was it your first pass that day at the track, down the 500 ft. grass track that is..... So i guess for trail stock, the requirements are bare track, just the way it came out of the box ha??? In 02 at hay days when jerry fix campained his 03 rx1 stocker,it was doing very good in trail stock without studs and the button track that came on it,and he even got to run in stock 700 class and if memory serves me right he made it up to 4th aganist haucks srx... That was the first time anyone saw the proto f-7s from cat run wow at least cat had them set up to impress us,and impress us they did,now they only ran them self, but how is 5.3's at 90 mph sound,ya they may have been ringers, but they were good ringers lol.... good luck with the apex this summer allen, and keep us posted,as you generally do...

Trail stock requirements are at least 4'' of travel. A OEM track with no more than 1/2'' of stud showing above the bar and no more than 192 studs. You can clutch, jet, add extra wheels in the rear skid and gear the sled and also have cool down connects. We setup that SRX 600 as it used to be our old race sled and it is clutched, geared, extra wheels, OEM .75'' track with 192 studs. The Apex was completely box stock, we brought it with no itention of running it, but then decided to do it to put a show on for the crowd. He'd jump out 5-6 sled lengths on the starting line due to the traction difference and we'd be less than a ski length apart at the finish line. The Apex has a lot of steam on top!
