Season 2009 -2010 TY Mileage IKE

Let it snow.... unluckily we back to mild weather +2C at the time, have been above freeze for 3-4 days now. Southern winds, not good for snow this time of the year. Hope for winds from west to north, this will bring us cold moist air in from the Norse Sea and the Arctic Ocean, blowing in from north of Iceland and Greenland.

New member of our family was born early last saturday. Wife and my son are doing well. His 2 brothers are really excited to have a yourger brother.

This time it was quick, only 4 hours after we left from home. We were on our way to the hospital 3 am on saturday morning.

I´m taking paternity leave for 3 weeks now. Just to be home with my family.

Juuso, my 6 year old son wanted to go out riding with me. Well, dad can´t say no. So, we found some time to start up my Warrior went for spin around the local fields and trails.

Weather is really mild today. +0 c today and light snowfall.

We finally got a few inches of white stuff on the ground Think snow.

My oldest sons were at school, wife home with the newborn and I suddenly found some spare time. What to do?

So, I fired my sled up and went for a spin. Rode to our clubs snowcross track. And rode around it for few laps just to make the heavy wet snow stick to it. I hope for some below zero temps next, so the base would set to the track better.

More snow seems to be falling as I type this. This season is looking good so far!

I took one of my sons with me and we went for a spin. 19 km´s and one hot chocolate later, we came back home..

As you can see, the arctic night has arrvied here too. Not too much light anymore.
