Kinger,

I think you would really look good in BLack and do I have a deal for you.

I will deliver your new, 06 Apex with just 9770 miles, -beautiful black just finished waxing on monday night, 3 windshields you can keep all,- in exchange for your custom black and white sled.......FREE OF CHARGE......yes I will do pick up an delivery at my expense just to let you look good in black.

All joking aside, what a beautiful sled you have. If I see you on a trail somewhere I will be the IDIOT on the black APEX doing everything he can to get your attention and see that baby in person. Have fun.

Closer look and it sticks out, however the white marble does look awsome on snow!

This is on top of a drift that was about 6' high and 30-40' wide! Huge!

Got some riding in this weekend, not as much as I wanted but quite bit and managed to break some stuff so that rules LOL

There is record snow on the ground in SE Minnesota and wow it was fun but a TON of work, 20 miles felt like 200 LOL. I was riding with my dad and he was not liking the work required to get through the deep stuff. Sled did great in the deep and I never spent so much time in the midrange RPM's. It was really technical riding and fun. I even got to carve the sled for the first time and it was fun!

On the second day I lost reverse and was like WTF? I just kept riding because I was lazy and on the 3rd day the sled started getting louder and louder, and it was apparent I had a exhaust donut out or something. So instead of riding Sat I spent the day in the shop and found my problems. 2 loose bolts thats IT LOL. The reverse linkage had a loose bolt once tigthened the slop was out of it and it worked like a champ. Pulled the gas tank off and found that one exhaust clamp the bolt worked all the way loose and was laying in there and the clamp, bolt, and donut were all good! So I just put it back on tightend it up and Voila both problems fixed! By that time it was time to head home. So not a ton of riding but I will get more in Jan when we go to WI.

Other then that sled runs awesome and wow when you put the hammer down she flys!

Didnt take as many picts as I wanted but here is one from a bar and it shows the snow depth and that was a light spot.

Put on about 120 miles of HARD riding today. Lots of snow but its rough and felt like a snowcross track all day. It was fun to put the sled through its paces and nothing broke so that is good LOL!

Next trip planned Jan 12th!

LOL

Without those gold Öhlins in the front, you would not find that sled after a snowfall!!

Sharp looking sled. And great snow you got. We have the low temps but really no snow.

Got back from our UP trip, we lost a sled with maint and repairs so it held our mileage back a little but it was still a decent ride trails were fair and sled worked good.

I did pick up either a exhaust leak or a bad AEM AF sensor as it was mis reading most of the trip. I also didn't get to find out the top speed of my sled on Lake gogebic like I was hoping because there was so much new snow out there. We were in 16" of fresh stuff but that was fun to!

I'll check on the sled this week and hopefully get some riding in around here as the snow looks great here in Iowa.

Finally wrapped up the sled and got it put away for awhile. It was a great winter this year. My newborn kept me off the trails a little more then I would like but all 793 miles were worth it! Next year I hope to be back at my 1500-2000 miles in a season. Thanks for all the help and all the compliments on the sled! Have a great summer primping and prepping your sleds for next year!
