I have seen these posts before but I'm lost as to how you find the time to do this, whats the deal you work all summer or something?
I looked up that address and holy crap this is a LONG ways north of me LOL no wonder you have snow.
I look forward to the durability testing!

I don't know where I find the time, it's hard, no doubt about it. That's why I didn't do it last year. I work a regular 40 hour week Monday to Friday throughout the year.
Getting out to ride is the easy part. Even the filming is easy. Getting it into the computer at home and editing it, then exporting it, then uploading it, that's what takes awhile. I'd save half the time editing if we didn't swear so much. lol

Awesome man, I was going to say I noticed all the bleeps and my only thought was "wow I bet editing this takes FOREVER" LOL
I look forward to them again. I hope someday yamaha recognizes you as a durability tester for thier new models!

Thanks. To Yamaha and my dealer's credit, they've done everything for me but give me a sled for free. I've gotten complimentary accessories from a variety of sources including Yamaha, Tour Buddy, Sled Solutions, Force One, just to name a few. Yamaha included me in their 2011 Apex testing last January, and i've been fortunate enough to have great support from everyone when i've been down for repairs and required backordered parts. I certainly appreciate everything everyone does for me, and I enjoy putting the products through the paces up here.

Update;
We had a late October spring! We lost all our snow, but have regained it in the past week. Regardless it meant the season went backwards and started over again as far as snowfall and ice forming goes. This weekend coming was the one slated for a ride on the lakes, but it won't be happening until next weekend.
So I figured you'd need a fix, so I dug into the archives and pulled out some video that's never seen the light of day (boy there's a lot!)
So here's Part One of a flashback from November, of 2005. Enjoy!

I put another video together today...I resurected the 'search and rescue/Yellowknife missing' event from 2006, which shows what I have from the search and rescue visit among other things.
