To take off a belt, I squeeze the brake, grab the belt close to the primary and pull backwards. The belt pops on literally in less than one second.
Getting it back on is another story.

Thanks! (I didn't keep the bottle - I'll leave it for the next crazy person who rides into there)

I think of us as a little off the rocker, but I'll gladly take the compliment!
MrSled said:Yellowknife, I remember in one of your VIDS you talk about using a hammer to change the belt. I was going to make a VID to show you how easy it is to change a belt on a Yamaha but I found that someone else has already done one.

Thanks for that video! I will try that method next time - but I think I will need some mechanix gloves in the tool kit cause there's no way my bare hands would come out un-burned on that metal at -30/-40.
OK -
Here we go!

We never did ride all the way to Fort Prov. The bridge is expected to be done in November of 2012. Fat Chance! They've been delayed it more times than I can count.
You'll get to see the bridge (if subscribed to the youtube channel) this spring - we're heading down that way soon and I plan to continue uploading video's into the off-snowmobile-season.
Speaking of snowmobiling - I just realized I didn't put the link to the video I uploaded a week ago!
2012 Snowmobile Season: Episode Fifteen
Video Description: Hearne Lake Lodge with Mark, Powder Riding with Nate, checking out Sean's malfunctioning 600 E-TEC, trail breaking with Nate, more powder riding, another explosion around the clutches of the XTX, riding to Whitebeach Point, and the tail end of a snowmobile club ride.

I'm going to get my clutch looked at/rebuilt accordingly this summer. Almost 15,000 km's on it now.

Perhaps ice in it? It free'd up in the garage and it ran fine all weekend.
This is a re-upload of the last video which I removed. I'll get workin' on the next one as well.

Thanks for sharing another great season.
I really feel like those of us TY members are part of an elite club that are the only ones that get to see these cool productions.
Anyone that has spent any amount of time shooting and editing video understands the amount of time it takes to actually produce 18-20 minutes! GREAT WORK and please keep them coming.
I have seen a few of your post-winter productions, but please feel free to post them here. I am checking in often, even though it won't be until September until I get the sled buzz. I'm sure your summer antics are almost as good!
Thank you!
