I've replaced the bushing in the center of the secondary this week and yesterday was out for the first time with it.

after around 60 km, the sled start to vibrate and secondary was very hot(enough to melt the nylon buttons)
It is possible that the bushing is the problem? anyobody already seen this?

I meant do you have it installed the way it was before you took it appart. IE, correct holes, and correct tension (wrap). Also did the bushing clearance feel ok? Sometimes when you install them, they can get damaged, squished when installing them, causing them to bind up.

i have put it at 6-2 instead of 6-1.
it is possible that it was too tight?

i have now replaced the buttons and reinstall at 6-1.
But the viration still there.

The helix as also rubbed on the sheave. It's a little bit rough on the edge. It is ok or i need to replace it?

Could be some extra heat, but not enough to melt buttons. Double check everything carefully. Something is not right. On the helix, if you scraped up the surface that touches the buttons, you need to get that fixed, or buttons will wear fast. Sandpaper is your friend unless it is real bad. Hard to trouble shoot stuff over the internet, without seeing stuff. Hope this helps?

I took my clutches apart to clean them, while still bolted on the shafts. On the secondary, how loose should the inside sheave fit on the shaft with the helix removed? I think mine is worn, seems very sloppy on there with the helix removed. They both seem to be working fine.
