Secondary clutch (TOO MUCH GREASE!)

I checked my secondary clutch, it was WAY over greased by the factory. My helix was all covered with greasy smud. I dissasembled the clutch and cleaned up the grease. I also removed about half of the grease from the inner bore (bronze bushing).

Check your's today. Too much grease will gum up the clutch causing poor shifting and belt slippage. :rocks:
 
My 06 Attak,s jackshaft was clean but my 07 Attak had grease all over the place. Cleaned it off & all is good.
