My rpm guage quit working yesterday for most of the day then myself diagnoses lights came on.The ! with the triangle around it and the engine light would blink and then a quick blink after,so basically one long flash then one quick one. This is also when I noticed my rpm guage start working then about a half hour later my thumb and hand warmers didn't seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, ken
There was a similar post a while back - here are the codes for self diagnosis.

Thanks for posting those.Looks like I have a hand warmer short ,my thumb warmer works just fine.My rpm needle got stuck again and unfortunatley I found a crack at the back of the guage (probably from rolling it last weekend in revy)right behind the centre of the rpm needle.I'm guessing thats where my hand warmers maybe are shorting out on the board inside the guage.I can't imagine what a new guage would be worth!

Got lucky! Tapped collar on rpm needle out a bit ,works fine. Also found that one of the heated grips shorted out near the end piece.Any way of fixing these?
No grip repair that I am aware of. If it were me I would install aftermarket elements and soft grips on both sides.
How many wires coming out of the element? 2 or 3

2 wire per grip
Pick out a nice set of soft grips, I'll try to post more info tomorrow about what warmer elements to use tomorrow.
