Sidewinder Factory Knock Sensor

thats because your viper is not decompressed..making it more sensitive as you go up in boost compared to the sw

Yes while you are completely correct, the hurricane viper 240 turbo kit spools faster then the 190hp kit due to cam timing adjustments that we make as the head shim is installed

wouldnt it require higher octane fuel than the 87 the stock winder could get away with (In a pinch) and have no protections like the winder?

Are you running stock tubes? Mine are outfitted with Alpha tubes and CAI kit,and there clamps are realy rugged and you can tighten them with a lot of torque,no codes on mine yet,but we only have 635 miles, until todays end, maybe 750,by days end.
Running alpha tubes(orange). Yes I used those wider clamps that cam with the Alpha tubes.. BUT The clamp (IMO) that's the issue is the one that comes right off turbo. Upper right side if standing over sled looking towards the rear of sled.. That clamp is tucked down in a bit. Its not wide enough IMO

I know, I was just replying to the fact someone said that there aftermarket kit had some serious lag

Oh the CAI one,so far knowck on wood,we have not had an issue with any of the clamps on tubes, but did break one on header to turbo pipe.
