Ride like the wind. Doesn't hurt a thing. Some people think the world is coming to an end if there is a little fretting in the clutch or the paint is rubbed off the springs, but the fact is there are not many clutches or clutch springs that don't rub somewhere. They are going to vibrate at certain frequencies and do all kinds or weird rubbing at some point. Thats why clutch springs break, they break from harmonics and the stress from the vibration. Change them when they break or get weak and loose performance.

Heck I rode for who knows how long with a primary spring that was broken into 3 pieces !!!
Didn't have quite the bottom end snap that it normally had , but still worked better than a lot of other sleds !!!!!

I believe it. The Winder is like a honey badger, it really doesn't give a shlt if has a broken primary spring or what you throw at it really, it just mows shlt down.

That has been alot of our experience, you need to miss your clutch set-up by a long ways to notice it. Motor just tractors through little missteps.
