The top of the boots have a line of silver dust on them from rubbing on the top of the foot holds. Any solutions to this ? Just bought a new pair of Klim Arctic boots and would like to keep them just black if possible. Was thinking of buffing out the top of the foot hold or putting some clear tape along the top of the foot hold.
3M tape as the boot rubbing on the aluminum is abrasive. Very hard to clean it off the boots.
3m tape it is. If it would only now get above zero so the tape would stick.
Wifes hair dryer coulb be your best option.

I recently noticed my Klim Arctic GTX boots do the same thing. I think I'll just live with it.

How do you like the boots? Just got mine and breaking them in.

I really like these boots. My feet don't get cold, they're not too heavy or bulky, and give good support. They take a little longer to put on and take off compared to some boots, but I don't mind. It's probably the best $200 I ever spent on snowmobile gear.Powerguy said:mbw919 said:I recently noticed my Klim Arctic GTX boots do the same thing. I think I'll just live with it.
