over fathers day weekend, the simons cpr rx-1 turbo ran a 9.38 et @134.5 mph in a 1/4 mile at union grove. this is a stock engine, set to 8 lbs of boost, running on pump gas, in trail form. we went back to the track on tuesday and the traction was not as good as we had hoped for, but we still ran a 9.44 et @ 134.5 mph. everyone who came down to watch the rx-1 turbo run was even able to take a informal ride via our digital video camera that was mounted to the handle bars displaying boost pressure, egt, and engne rpm. coming from a 3600 rpm engagement, the simons cpr turbo hits full boost before the tack can even get to its peak rpm. the shaking of the screen and the whistle of the turbo, followed by an incredible howling sound that the track makes as it accelerates itself up to 134+ miles in 9 seconds is awesome!! and can be easily heard over its whisper quiet exhaust that is actually 1/2 db queiter than the stock rx-1. i am working on getting this video put on the internet for all to enjoy. i will shoot some more video of the run at the end of the track and the drivers veiw as well next time we go down there. jeff

It's unreal for only 8lbs of boost on pump fuel,I was there to verify it.
