i just recvieved this months supertrax... ski don't has an add, that really made me laugh. there is a guy adding weights to the front of this 600HO, trying to make it even with the '06 RXT. jackass. i guess ski-don't didn't attend the old forge shoot out in woodgate when the apex spanked every ski-don't there. even their presious mack'z

I saw that too. Come on. It's so typical. I hate to say that but that same attitude is the same with the ski doo riders. Ski Doo is the only sled on the planet. It's like politions campaining with the mud slinging. I like the fact that Yamaha hasn't answered back to it. Not stooping to their level.

I saw that ad and instantly thought of what a great compliment that is to Yamaha. They know who's breathing down their necks. They should add the parts necessary for their first few motor jobs to equal the weight.

This is my take on it
I thought this too, you kow there sweating. BUT, Yamaha has never made a Mnt. sled that was the top DOG. Why not turbo a Vector and be number 1 for a change ? Why not go all the way and build the Apex to put out 175 h.p. so it would be equivalent to the H.p. ratings of the other big guns ? Yamaha has nice stuff but it's like they never have the biggest or baddest ? I mean HELL if Polaris an make a turbo sled factory and dependable why not Yamaha ? I just think they need to step up there game in the H.P. to weight ratio! This being said, I bought an 07' Apex mnt. but would sure like to see them actually be on top!

i dont think being able to climb the highest mountain is what all mountain sleders want. After a day riding a yamah 4 stoke in the boonys and a rev, we will see who is beet at the end of the day

"Fair Play"?
Ive got one:
Which sled is really better:
A heavy 4-stroke that runs, or the lighter 2-stroke it's towing back to the trailer?

i agree, i wouldnt give up me 4 stroker either, but i rode a rx1 mountain in the steep and deep and a mountain max. the max was way more fun and easy to handle. I guess the real experiance rriders it might not make a difference, but me as a ammature mountain rider the mountan max was realy easy compared to the rx
