I just read that skidoo got caught sending a ecu for the mach and 600 that were way to lean to the shoot out for dyno test. Someone there caught it and reprogramed them to stock specs. This is what all the big skidoo guys get to grass drag with. I am glad they caught it............

Jim at dynotech is dynoing all the sleds for shootout...BRP wanted to have their sleds run without the breakin chip,which most MANUs want to do...since the breaking chip hurts performance for the first 4 to 5 hrs approx.....
so Dynotech had BRP race dept send down two ECUs for a mach and 600 sdi...when Jim started to dyno them,they showed LEAN LEAN LEAN...so he caught it and had them reprogrammed to stock 06 specs after chip.
IMO,this was a mistake....its obvious to anyone that the entire reason the ECU was being changed was the fact it would be dynoed,and everyone knows the fuel flow would be made apparant during the testing session at dynotech....I dont think its realistic to think they sent them thinking they would get them by a dyno session...just aint gonna happen...i personally think it was a simple mistake and ofcourse everyone wants to make a mtn. out of a moe-hill....
