I am getting ski lift (inside) when cornering. I set the suspension adjuster to the Hard setting and tightened the limiting strap right up but this seems to make it even worse . not sure what to do next . I'm pretty green at this stuff. This is a new 08 GT model and I am a 200 lb rider

First, I have been told you can widen the ski stance by moving the outer spacers by the ski leg to the inside.
Second, usually to improve handling, you start by lifting the sled front so the skis hang. then reduce spring compression to just be able to turn the spring with your hand. This lowers the front end.
Third, tighten the front strap little by little till you have the right amount of ski pressure and bite for you. This reduces the front end lift when you punch it and makes it more stable to corner.
I haven't had to make any of these adjustments to the 07 GT I purchased for my wife (I'm the only one who has ridden it). The dealer knows me and may have set it up for me. The only thing I have to do after about 250 miles, is increase the rear skid spring pressure and put some real carbides on.

All those help alot. Will also add that having just a bit of throttle on all the way through the corner helps.Just enough so the engine braking doesnt come into play while in the corner.I still want to try the SkiDoo skis which have carbide on outside edge also.

thanks for your help. I think i just went too far on the limiting strap, without touching the front suspension . Part of my reasoning with tightening it all the way, was to try an reduce slider wear as well. I will back it off to the middle setting and try it there.

Before doing that, soften the front track spring, andtighten the rear springs....altpeet said:thanks for your help.
