hello all, first ride on a 06 attak. i am coming from riding skidoo revs so i can only compare to them but i was wondering if there was anything i can do about the ski lift that seems to be excessive on this machine? my skidoo's dont seem to lift nearly as bad as this sled... is ther any adjustments that i can make to help this or is this the way they are? also this is the first 136 that i have ridden so im not sure if it is that or something else? besides that i really did like the sled just going to take a litttle bit to get use to it im sure thanks johnson....

Last year on the same sled I had little to no ski lift. This fall I adjusted the transfer back for more hook up and now the ski lift is driving me crazy. I'm going to change the transfer rate back like it was. I'd start by looking at that.

How was the snow? If the snow was wet it can help to get the ski up just one thing to think of.

Adjust the transfer rod then start messing with front shocks & clickers. You can tune that out or tune it in for wheelies.

i have pilot skis on it if that matters as well as i just had the shock redone by hygear. i must say it was a very comfortable ride seeing as i am a big guy 6'3 375 it was one of the most comforable suspensions i have ever rode on and i use to think my rev was great!!! any way what should i do with transfer rod extend it or shorten it? also when you say tighten strap i assume make strap shorter? i think it is in bottom holes right know but i will double check thanks for the help guys i apprecate it :exc:

yep adjust transfer rod... thread nut in towards front of sled... and "shorten" limited strap... will not alow front of suspension to "push" noise of sled up. with these two you should be able to keep skis down.... if not my friend.... maybe try light beer for a bit.. ;-)

With that type of weight if you lean back the ski is coming up on any sled.lol. Min transfer should help but try leaning forward to keep that ski down. I go 230 geared & if I get lazy & lean back the ski will come up. If I ride hard & give the sled what she needs it is pretty much point & shoot. The Bears could use you to shore up D line against the run up the middle.

thanks for the diet tips!!!!!!!!! well as much as i may agree the need for light beer that does nothing for the problem at hand right now. i will try the tips that you gave thanks. funny thing is i was for the most part all the way forward as well as leaning into the turns.. i have 2 revs so i am always riding forward on them and dont seam to have as much lift but totaly different sled. just the only thing i have to compare it to.. thanks guys i apprecate the site and all the very knowlegable people that are on here

Johnson,
Start here (above info). Make 'small' adjustments each time for each thing you adjust. I will add to what sherlock said...it helps alot if your front A-arms are level as well. It took me many rides to get my sled how I wanted it. Trial and error...if you put the time into it, you'll find out what works best for you. BTW, how many studs do you have in your sled/track?

it has an ice ripper track so no real studs yet as it seems to work pretty good but i only have put 125 miles on sled so far. i am headed up to ride this long weekend and will try the sugestions that you said to do and see if it gets better.
