ski spindle bushings

I have alot of slop in the bushings where the ski bolts to the spindle.
Is there a fix for this other than replacing the spindle?

how do you remove the stock split bushings?

Place them in a vise, and with a hammer short length of round steel or something, gently tap around the inside edge of the bushings until they come out the other side.
