SKIS

I ride mostly on trail, will the MTX skis be better on trail vs regular RTX skis?

On trail the standard MTX skis are waaaaay better than Yammi trail skis. They have a much taller keel, which helps. I also believe their construction makes them more rigid too. I ran them for 2 years and really liked them.

5.7 Pilot skis. I ran Woody's 6" in the middle and 4" on the outside. It handled great. I am going to try Bergstrom 6" triple points in the middle and 4" woody's on the outside this year

Thanx Super Sled, kinda the info I was looking for , not in a position to purchase new skis. Might have a line on some MTX skis cheap, they should help off trail abit also.

spend the extra 10 buck and get the Shaper bars. I ran woody's for years great product yes I'm not arguing that. but the Shaper bars outlast woody's by far you won't be disappointed.
