A few days ago me and my sled went thrue the thin ice.
The day after when i got my bodytemperature back up, i went to the sled and after a few hours we finally got it back up.

Now it stands in a heated garage with fans blowing at it.

This is what i done so far:
Engine drained
Gastank drained
Chaincase drained
Sparkplugs unplugged and engine have been "turned around" by hand and also on starter, so hopefully all water is now out of cylinders and carbs.

Also have sprayed alot of WD40 in cylinders and "turned it around by hand"

What should i do more, except filling engine with new oil and start it up and run warm, then drain oil again until the oil dont look like some failed chocolatepudding ?

I would take the whole sled apart and start from the ground up and go through everything.

But you can go through all the wiring and I would put electrical connection greese on all the connections

I havn't sunk a four stroke sled yet.If you didn't bend the rods youll never know anything happened! The seat will never drain.Ever.Alcohol removes water from electronics.Buy it by the gallon. Its also cheap at Wmart in the healthcare section(rubbing alcohol(highest percentage you can find))You can drop your speedo right in it!Then blow it out with compressed air.Anything you cant remove can be sprayed with a pump bottle filled with alcohol.Do that with everything you want to dry out(every connection you can find(throttle cable)).Dont turn on the electrics untill the speedo is cleaned and fuel is drained. If it starts idle it for hours. It will steam the water out of the motor, but it takes a long time.Final oil change after the oil isn't milky anymore(use cheap crap till then). You can needle grease into most bearings that are rubber sealed.I havn't found a cure for the seat yet!Drain tank before running fuel pump.Same alcohol can be run in the fuel(20/80) till all moisture is removed(no loading the motor till your back to gas without copious amounts of alcohol).Don't fret! Most likely it will be fine!Buy a used seat!

Today i finally got the chance to fire it up !
I havent checked correctly but i believe i have about 15 liters of water/oil drained.

First it didnt run quite well on idle but after a while when it got a bit warmer and the small amount of water left in the engine was out it runs like before.

Idled the engine up until it got warm, drained the chocolate oil, and now sled will be left open until tomorrow when i get some more oil to fill.

Only thing that dont seem to work correctly right now is the rear light, which is on all time until i take B- off.

And another thing that dont works 100% is the instrument cluster.

If you do nothing else, please remove the throttle cable and soak in alcohol, then oil.You will find the throttle sticking with ice the next time it gets cold. This is potentially deadly.

Maybe re grease things like the drive shaft bearings and stuff like that. get the water out of them and but fresh grease.
