sled shaken @ 120kms only need help

hey guys,,

need help here my brothers skidoo 800 mach z 2001..is making a vibrating noise almost like ratting....but it dont on hard accelation....only @ 120KMS AND ABOVE... my thoghts are clutch aliment but

he does have an old track that has those metal lugs on the out side???? im worndering if its that???

also he did blow a belt...first time in a long while...but i looked at his new one asfter comin home no ... no indiccations on it no wear....

my guesss is the track with the metal lugs.,,he just puttt it on./..

Could be a bearing on driveshaft how where they when he put the new track on also check jackstaff bearings also motor mounts one could be broke or something .

Run it on a stand with the hood open. You will be able to see what the engine is doing. Sounds like it could be a motor mount.

thanks we will look ...update not the track..we cut off the metal lugs no change...put sled up on stand no vibrations and engine not twisting...put new belt on no indications....it has me stumped...thinkin maybe...???? chain to tight....??

anyother suggestions....would be great...

and for the dooo forums im not a skidoo rider...apex..so im not a member of dotalk... but sleds are for the most part the same...

im goin check driveshaft/jackshaft bearings...BUT it only does it @ 140kms under load & noload.... up to that speed fine even under hard accelation...

I had a vibration at high speed on my APEX that turned out to be a Track coming apart after 11000 miles with 144 studs- inspection revealed brock rod and floppy section of the outside section of track.
